My Experience at DTU RoboCup 2022: Working with Embedded Systems and Computer Vision

Published on November 12, 2022 | Alborz Sabet

I participated in the DTU RoboCup 2022, focusing on robotics, AI, embedded systems, and computer vision. Armed with a Raspberry Pi, I was ready to learn and explore.

DTU RoboCup is a robotics competition that tests participants on creating robots that can perform complex tasks using computer vision. My project began with assembling a Raspberry Pi-based robot, teaching me about integrating hardware and software.

Our robot used cameras and sensors to navigate and understand its environment, utilizing image processing to identify objects and avoid obstacles.

The experience was rewarding, emphasizing the value of embedded systems, computer vision, teamwork, problem-solving, and persistence.
